Boys and Girls Champs Results

Results of the recently completed Boys and Girls Champs held at the National Stadium
St. Elizabeth Technical High School secured overall, a 5th position in the boys’ events and an 8th position in the girls’ events. The results were as follows:

BOYS EVENTS

4x100 Boys relay class 2 – 6th position
Relay Team:Renaldo Banton, Rohan Cole, Marquis Jones, Leroy Francis

4x400 Boys relay open - Silver
Relay Team: Jamar McNaughton, Orlando Smith, Marvin Williams, Robin Black
Fastest run ever from STETHS in this class 3.08.64

JAMAICA DAY CELEBRATIONS

STETHS celebrated Jamaica Day in fine style on Friday, February 28. We started with devotions being conducted by past student Dennis Johnson. Music was provided by past students Mark Charlton and Milton Henry. Our speakers for the day were SSP Lewis and Sergeant Deane Cover, both past students. Students were given medals of honour for services rendered beyond the call of duty. We dubbed them "Our Unsung Heroes".

JCDC Festival competitions

The school will participate in the JCDC Festival competitions next week at the St. Matthews Anglican church in Santa Cruz. We will participate in Music and Speech.
The Science Club entered a debating competition yesterday and though they fought bravely, they lost to Hampton High, 72 to 74.
March 21, is Careers Day.
