STETHS COPS BASKETBALL TITLE by Shanive Smith (Junior Editor)


The St.E.T.H.S. under 19 basketball team won the Under 19 Central Conference Championship in a best of 3 series against Munro College 44-38. This was their first gold medal since the existence of the competition.

Alex Levy got an award for being the top throw shooter,Raymond Eason got an award for top rebound and top blocks, and Mr. Taylor received the Coach of the Year.

Once again St.E.T.H.S. has achieved greatness through hard work and dedication.

Clarendon College defeated S.T.E.T.H.S. 3-nil in the ISSA/LIME Dacosta Cup finals at the Montego Bay Sports Complex on Saturday November 29, 2014.

This is the first time in 16 years that CC is winning the cup. Congratulations to Clarendon College.

To our STETHS team I say, well done. You might not have won the title but you played like the champions you are. As for the technical team, you continue to celebrate, motivate and appreciate the achievements of your young Dacosta Cup team because they are a hardworking team of integrity!!

STETHS REWARDS EXCELLENCE!! by Shanive Smith, student editor


On November 20, 2014, approximately three hundred and sixty (360) students were awarded for their achievements for the year 2013-2014.
The students were awarded bronze certificates for attaining an average of 70 - 74.9, silver for an average of 75 - 84.9 and gold for averages over 85.

The top gold students are as follows:

Brianna Hendricks - grade seven - average 87.6

Kari Donalds - grade eight - average 88.1

Leshanel Williams - grade nine - 87.6

Keeana Senior - grade ten - 87.2
